Hey I simply want to remind you that I would LOVE some feedback since I just got started. So that means please comment! I would Love to hear from you and to read what you have written. Please, if you are going to submit something, submit something clean so that I don't have to tell you that I can't post it because of content. I really want to get more stories and other works on here. Also if anyone has any poems that they have written I would love to take a look at and post some of those as well. Also if you would like to submit a story for possibly being posted I need you to specify if who you want the credit to go to. Gasping For Air

It was a dark night. So dark that you could not even see your hand in front of your face. Erie mist began to roll in from the north. It was cold and left tiny droplets of water on your skin. An owl screeched loudly from a nearby tree making me jump and stumble over a log. I fell to the ground. A sharp rock penetrated my hand causing deep crimson blood to drizzle from the wounds. Stricken with fear I began to run. I could smell smoke rising from the deep bogs surrounding the forest. A large bird screamed beek open, talons sharp, fluttering right in front of me. As I threw my hands up to shield my face I could feel it's long, soft feathers brush against my palms. I ran for my life from the bird of prey. It followed closely behind. I could see it hover, lurking in the shadows. I could feel it as it flew right over my head. With one more pass the bird slammed into me sending me flying, slamming my head to the cold, hard, ground. Riveted with pain, stars shielding my eyes, I could feel blood begin to pool in my throat. My mouth suddenly became filled with the taste of rusty metal. I rose my head attempting to spit it out gasping for air. As I tried to catch my breath I could hear it's scream as it dove towards me, it's prey. Beneath it's piercing screams was a whisper "Set me Free! Please set me free!"

Bouncing Off Of The Walls

OK on the next short story I was supposed to write actually as a description for a composition assignment, but it got kind of out of control! I got so excited I couldn't stop typing! So many ideas were flowing through my head I didn't know when to stop. I Love this story so much and I worked on it like CRAZY! Once I finished I was practically bouncing off of the walls it turned out so well. (And I hadn't even had any sugar that morning!) lol ha h. So I hope that you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it! :)

Nemesis

Rapidly, a stealthy as a cat (Except she is a bird ironic isn't it???) she sneaks up on her prey. With such speed and agility she blurrs past her foe as quickly as the speed of light. Taking heed of her surroundings she checks the perimeter nervously. Watching for the approach of her nemesis. She hears a foot fall behind her. She whipped her head around craining her neck to see what would befall her. But all that stood before her was a small grey kitten. Resting beside that innocent kittens paws was her Mountain Dew! The can was opened by small claws, thin scratches ran along the top and sides. The kitten filled with glee, tipped the sparkling green can up to her lips. Filled with fury and rage, she spread her threatening green wings. The kitten dropped the can in pure fear as she soared above her head, flapping her wings menacingly. "NEVER AGAIN!" she screamed comming down on the terrified kittens back. "I'M SORRY!" the kitten wailed dodging her sharp talons. The kitten took off running through the darkened alley pathetically meowing her remorce. She cackled as she retrieved the Precious can...So precious...So precious. But when she brought the can up to her beak the can was empty! "YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS SMALL KITTY!!!! Trust me for this, you will pay."

A Little Bit Of The Back Story

Hey!
OK so before I post my first short story I wanted to give you all a little bit of the back story so it makes sense.

OK so a few days ago I had been hanging out with a bunch of my friends and I drank like 12 cups of Mountain Dew. Now since Kitty isn't really allowed to drink Mountain Dew very much I like to rub it in her face a little bit. (teasingly) lol ha ha. So anyways I had E-mailed her that I had drank a ton of Mountain Dew that night and I was really hyper. Then she sent me [quote] "Lucky!" *Steals Mountain Dew* and then that is where this whole CRAZY story started. lol ha ha Enjoy! :)

Hey Story Lovers!

Hey everyone!
I kind of doubt that anyone has found me or what this blog is but anyways. I just thought I would let you all know (If anyone is reading this) that I am so not technology savvy. I totally thought that I was so incredibly smart that I could create my own blog except for one thing......Wait for it, wait for it.... I fail when attempting to reason with computers! So anyways my friend Kitty totally set me straight on how dumb I am. So she helped me figure things out. So then once again I was crusing in smartness until the computer was saying that I could totally upload a profile for myself except for the fact that when I did it deleated the profile we had for the Cornerstone Gazette! So anyways I totaled that profile and still don't have a profile for this website because computers and I are not compatable. (We will be reupdating our profile on the Cornerstone Gazette by the way.) In case you are wondering I am Songbird from the Cornerstone Gazette but other then that you shall know nothing. ha ha. So anyways I tend to go on bunny trails a lot, but finally getting to the point this is a blog that I am going to post short stories on that I have written. I am going to also put some short stories my friends have written and if you have anything you can comment and let me know. Reminder this is Christian and everything submitted will be screened. Nothing will be posted with out first being run over to make sure that there is no objectionable content. Anyways I hope someone finds this and enjoys it. If you do enjoy it or have any concerns or comments please comment and tell me how you feel. Other then that I hope that you enjoy these stories.
