New School Year!

Hey Everyone!
I just wanted to let you all know that I am begining work on my latest story and hopefully will have it posted within the next few days! : ) Please bare with me for the next little while. I know that I haven't been posting stories quite as often but I am still writing and working on them! With the start of the new school year I am really busy so I am still going to post when ever I can please just bare with me in the spots when I haven't posted for a little while. I promise that I will post again soon though! : )

So Long!

The Invisible Friend

Right now...Somehow the whole world felt right. She sat up high on the roof of the old weather beaten farm house. It was a cold winter night. She had climbed through the gable window breathing deeply in the fresh January air. The icy shingles pressed up against the thin flannel of her pajama pants. She had thrown on a sweater and thrust her toes into a pair of toasty warm boots. She could feel her face blush as it was beaten by the shrill winds blowing around her. She hadn't had an easy life....Her parents fought most of the time, and her sister had run away from home three months ago. She had been in and out of relationships for the last year. Leaving behind her scattered dreams and broken hearts. Her parents could care less about her and her sister but only of getting what they wanted from one another. She would wake up in the morning to the screaming voice of her mother shouting and would fall asleep at night hearing her father throwing things around the house smashing them in his fury. She had always felt alone in the world. She had come from a broken home and a broken family. Things always seemed to fall apart in her life. Nothing ever turned out right for her. The only place where she could escape the screams and the constant pain was on the roof. She would climb out at night and stare at the stars! No one would bother her there. She could sit in peace and watch the stars dance in the heavens. Out of harms way she felt safe. She felt as if she belonged out there amongst the sky where she had room to breathe and room to cry. She would call out to her invisible friend and he would always answer. She would speak with him every day and would tell him her troubles. She could only hear him and could never see him except through the works of others by his hands. He would stay with her for as long as she wanted to hear his voice. She could feel him in the darkest places...She could hear in him the worst pain...She could touch him in her most fearful hours... and he would always reach out to her and pull her to safety. She loved him and he loved her. He helped her through her troubles and guided her through the darkness. Yet on the roof when it was silent she could hear him whisper softly that he loved her....That her parents problems were not her own...That true love covers all sin. Yes in his presence the whole world seemed right...Because she is the air that I breathe.....Can you hear Him whisper??

Today or Tomorrow!!!

Hey Everyone!
I know that I seemingly haven't posted in forever. Well actually it has only been six days so I guess it hasn't been quite as long as I thought but I wanted to remind you all that I am still here! I have been so busy lately actually I had a chance to write my latest story I just have never gotten a chance to post it yet! lol I will be posting my newest story hopefully today tomorrow at the latest. The Silent Observation

She stood in silent observation...The one across the room was beautiful. She had long tresses of silk blond hair and eyes as blue as the ocean. She had invested hours in the beautiful dress she wore and her hair was curled to perfection. She would dance through the meadow lit by thousands of lanterns. And twirl in the light of the moon. She would capture the hearts of all who saw her even though her heart was made of stone. I was only a wall flower...a no body. I was plain in appearance. And shy of nature I would stand alone for hours quietly watching...I was gentle in Spirit and kind of heart but no one saw me...They would look straight through me like a pane of glass. There eyes piercing my soul in judgement. But one one ever saw me for who I truly was. I wanted to jump into the center of attention..I wanted to grab the spot light and to be noticed. I wanted with all of my heart for people to love and accept me...but that would never be so...I was to different to ever be accepted...but maybe....maybe that isn't such a bad thing. To set an example to be the black sheep....maybe by being invisible I was really standing out letting my differences shine through like a star through the darkness....Maybe my purpose is to be a beacon of light in a dying world...

Evil Queens and Lurking Dragons

Like in a fairy tale the princess always is rescued by the prince. The whole world is made right. The prince always saves the day...Sometimes there is an evil queen lurking or a dragon simply waiting to attack. But the prince kills the dragon and defeats the queen and falls in love with the princess swooping her off onto his white horse. And they live happily ever after, the end....This is not a true reality the world is not such a beautiful perfect place. We do not live in a world of perfection, we do not live in a world of peace. In our fairy tale we are not always rescued. Nothing seems to turn out right. We stumble and we fall over and over again. Sometimes we die and have our hearts broken in two. The world is not always made right. There is always an evil queen or a dragon lurking near by. Just waiting for us to fall so that they can ensnare us in there traps. The dragons in our lives are not always slain. And the evil queens are not always defeated!But even through all of the harsh reality of the world.. all the anguish...all the pain..that does not mean that there's no HOPE. Hope is all around us. Even though we are not rescued by man we are always rescued by our Savior. Even when all seems wrong we can find beauty amongst all of the pain. Even though our world is not perfect it is beautiful and we can make a difference. Our world is not a fairy tale it is a reality. Even through the haze of pain we still can choose to seek joy. Nothing may seem right and we may seem to make so many mistakes...but there is always room for forgiveness. Even though there is always a dragon lurking around the corner and evil all around us we can live in peace knowing that our Father will protect us. Jesus Christ can slay all of the dragons in your life....And he can give you the hope you need to survive.
