The Dying Of The Snowflakes

The Morning dew moistened my face as I sat in the syphony of crickets resounding like a choir of children. The sun hadn't yet begun to start peeking over the purple mountains of Gahbora. And I could see at the top of those everlasting mountains that they were capped with fresh snow as it gracefully fell like skaters on a frozen pond. A single crystalized drop of water fell up on my face and melted into nothing but water. It was so horrible to hear the dying screams of the precious ice formations wilting away into an non exsistance. They twisted and morphed attempting to avoid there horrid fate but nothing could stop the future they must endure. It was awful to think that every single flake of snow is different, no two are alike....They are each individually special in there own way, and they are so beautiful to everyone who sees them......It made me furious to think that every single crystal that falls is preforming it's swan song......There will never be another ice formation quite like that one...There may be ones similar and one will take the fallens place but there will be some difference somewhere which will set that one apart from the fallen. Where do the snow flakes go when there is no winter? They have such a short time of exsistance. In the spring they sleep in the clouds and during summer they dance in the water falls.....But when winter comes so does the end for all of those special, beautiful beings sparkling in the sky. I ran my fingers over my damp cheeks in terror realizing that my face was covered in corpses of the fallen crystals from the sky. I shed a tear for those who fall and for those who's time is still to come. For they only have a hint of but will never know what it is to truley be.....ALIVE.....
